Phil received his Bachelor of Commerce and Graduate Degree in Accounting degrees from Concordia University. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant having both received the former Chartered Accountant and Certified General Accountant designations, and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Mr. Turner is a senior partner in the Toronto office of Williams Meaden & Moore Inc. and has over 37 years of experience in insurance loss measurement and investigative auditing in Canada, the United States, and internationally. He has given numerous seminars and presentations relating to investigative auditing and measurement of losses to members of the insurance industry and is experienced in most forms of commercial loss and value work.

Over the years, Mr. Turner has engaged in teaching at university and colleges, in various accounting and auditing courses, in addition to presentations to insurance and litigation audiences.

He has been involved in assignments of significant complexity and of values ranging up to over $1 billion in claimed damages. His experience includes work resulting from a variety of sources including losses resulting from the 9/11 World Trade Center collapse, a major financial Ponzi scheme , nuclear power plant interruptions, gold and silver mining, lumber, movie and television losses, international hotel losses, and oil refinery losses. This work has taken him across the globe to Saudi Arabia , Dubai, South Korea, the Caribbean, and across the United States and Canada.
