Jean-Charles Plante is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and holds a Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting (DIFA) from the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University.

With over 22 years experience, he has worked in the forensic, dispute, valuation and litigation services teams for large international accounting and boutique firms. He has presented seminars on fraud, forensic accounting, commercial damages, family law, insurance claims and personal injury to legal, fraud and insurance associations and conferences as well as to law firms, accounting firms, insurance brokers, adjusters, companies and federal government departments.

Jean-Charles has provided litigation support on matters before federal and provincial courts, government enquiries, tribunals, commissions, mediations and arbitrations.  He has been qualified as an expert witness in forensic accounting and loss quantification, past and future loss of income, present value of future care costs and income for support purposes, in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
