Damian holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree from the University of Ottawa (1998) and is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant with the CPA Canada (2002). He is Certified in Financial Forensics (2014) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is a Chartered Insurance Professional (2020).

Damian has worked as a Forensic Accountant for over 20 years and works with insurers, brokers and adjusting firms in relation to the quantification of commercial losses. Assignments include business interruption claims, inventory losses, downtime claims, soft cost claims and fidelity claims.

His experience also includes litigation support, financial analysis and securities/trust investigations. His litigation experience includes calculation of personal injury income loss, economic loss, breach of contract, bankruptcy and estate disputes.

Damian has been qualified as an Expert Witness in Ontario and British Columbia and provided expert witness testimony in mediation, arbitration and court proceedings.
