Ivor received his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.

Mr. Gottschalk is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). He has over 30 years of experience in investigative accounting and financial litigation support and has lead hundreds of assignments, including high profile matters in Canada and abroad. He has experience in insurance and litigation matters, where he has been accepted as an expert witness. His past experience includes being a partner in the forensic accounting group of Grant Thornton. Mr. Gottschalk was the Chair of the Standards Committee of the CICA’s Alliance for Excellence in IFA and has co-authored publications for the IFA Alliance, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada and developed and presents a workshop in The University of Toronto Mississauga’s Master of Forensic Accounting program.
